Freelance Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant – Brussels (Hybrid/On-site) Contract Type: Freelance / Interim

We’re partnering with a dynamic, internationally oriented organization in Brussels that is scaling rapidly and investing in best-in-class finance operations. They’re looking for a high-performing Freelance AP Accountant to step in and make an immediate impact—streamlining processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting a fast-paced finance team.
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle (invoice processing, approvals, payments)
Prepare and execute payment runs (SEPA & international payments)
Support month-end close activities (accruals, AP reporting, aging analysis)
Proven experience as an AP Accountant / Accounts Payable Specialist (5+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting standards and VAT rules
SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
Strong communication skills in English (French and/or Dutch is a big plus)
