Data Visualisation Specialist
Brussels (50% on site / 50% remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Visualisation Specialist to join an Operational Control and Reporting team.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality business reporting and dashboards that support operational control, regulatory requirements, and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders and data engineers to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and data visualisation needs
* Translate business requirements into prototypes and fully developed dashboards
* Collect, prepare, and structure data for effective visualisation and analysis
* Design, develop, publish, maintain, and decommission dashboards across their full lifecycle
* Improve automation and efficiency of reporting solutions
* Work with Data Engineers to develop sustainable and scalable data solutions
* Promote data reuse, consistency, and alignment with data strategy
* Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and reporting standards
* Act as a champion of reporting best practices within the organisation
* Document solutions and deliver user training on reporting tools and dashboards
* Contribute to optimisation initiatives and innovative data projects
* Deliver recurring operational reporting aligned with evolving requirements
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data visualisation or reporting roles
* Strong experience with data visualisation and dashboard design
* Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI (Tableau is a plus)
* Understanding of data warehouses, data marts, and data pipelines
* Ability to prepare and structure data for reporting purposes
* Strong awareness of data governance and security principles
* Proficiency in SQL (mandatory)
* SAS knowledge is a plus
* Python knowledge is an advantage
* Experience with reporting automation and optimisation
* Excellent communication and data storytelling skills
* Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
* Experience in banking or financial services
* Knowledge of GDPR and data governance frameworks is an advantage
