As Operational Quality Expert you are a key driver of continuous improvement within our operations. Everything you do will be enlightened by the improvement of operational quality, customer experience and lead times across our depots, hub and linehaul.
Although your insights start with reporting and dashboards, you don’t stop there. Using your analysis, you identify issues, verify them on the work floor, take ownership and make changes happen with the operational teams. With data as your compass and operations as your playground, you translate insights into concrete improvements that truly stick.
What will you do in this role?
* You analyze operational data and dashboards related to KPIs, complaints, error rates, lead times and process deviations to identify structural problems, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
* You visit depots and our HUB to observe, question and validate findings, challenging the processes constructively with our operational teams.
* You’re not just a data crusher that translates numbers into patterns, you transform your insights into clear improvement actions.
* A close follow up of your improvements results in deliverables that stick and become embedded in our operations.
* Leading and supporting quality and process improvement projects is also a part of your day-to-day business, coordinating and collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders including your colleagues actively working
* You take ownership of the existing reports and dashboards, taking up refinement and further development of existing tools when needed.

What do we expect from you?
* You either have a bachelor or master degree in a relevant field (e.g. operations, logistics, engineering, analytics,…) or a strong analytical experience.
* Relevant experience in operations, quality, process improvements or analytics is a plus.
* You are an analytical person, who loves to crush data and can translate data into insights and actions.
* Being curious and asking questions will take you to through and thorough understanding.
* Taking ownership and having a proactive and decisive approach is essential in this function.
* You are resilient and able to handle pushbacks.
* You strive for solutions and operational excellence, while staying hands-on and pragmatic. Finding the balance between customer centricity within the operational reality will be one of your greatest challenges.
* A solid knowledge of Excel is required, combined with Tableau (or other BI tools) you’ll have a solid base to take up this role.
* You are fluent in English, ideally combined with Dutch and/or French.
