The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key job responsibilities
Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
Engaging with AWS customers and internal stakeholders as trusted security advisors to executives and technical teams
Promoting Amazon's culture of security and maintaining the highest security standards throughout interactions with customers, partners, peers and internal stakeholders
A day in the life
Senior role in security consulting team; four out of five working days dedicated to customer projects. Lead complex projects, manage customer stakeholders, and ensure secure operations of large teams across different project work‑streams. Mentor others and lead cross‑organizational initiatives to improve AWS & customer outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in cloud based solutions (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system
5+ years of hands‑on security experience in two or more of the following: Cloud Security, Application Security (security SDLC, threat modeling, code review), Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Data Protection, Incident Response. Hands‑on experience implementing enterprise security solutions (Data Loss Prevention, WAF, SIEM, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, etc.) are a plus
Experience with complex, cloud transformation projects
Strategic thinking and decision‑making capabilities in ambiguous environments
