As a Sr. Planning Manager in the ACES team, this position involves taking ownership to lead the standardization and simplification of planning cycles, inputs, outputs, and mechanisms across the Network. Working with our partners in Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, you will own the standardization of Amazon BR Ops planning.
This role is for candidates with a background and experience in Financial Planning, Volume Planning, or Supply Chain Planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage planning of major cycles (OPx, QxG) and High Volume Events (HVE) in Brazil Operations, including deliverables, stakeholders, communication, and more;
* Monitor KPIs related to success metrics, focusing on continuous improvement in all process aspects;
* Develop contingency plans to address unexpected issues or demand fluctuations;
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, manuals, and documents;
* Write complex documents to present to leadership;
* Own and manage change on a granular level;
* Maintain clear communication with leadership at all times.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in program or project management
* Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
* Bachelor's degree
* Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken
* Background and experience in Financial Planning, Volume Planning, and/or Supply Chain Planning
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
* Experience in stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels
* Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
* MBA in Finance, Logistics, or Supply Chain
