SENIOR FUNCTIONAL ANALYST - BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONWe're currently recruiting for a Senior Functional Analyst to join the software delivery team within the digital security sector. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong business analysis expertise with a solid understanding of IT systems and software development processes. You will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions are delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering and analysis activities across complex software delivery projects.Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and validate business and functional requirements.Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process models.Develop and maintain process diagrams using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).Work closely with development, QA, and architecture teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.Support agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement within digital security solutions.Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the digital security domain.Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst in software delivery projects.Strong knowledge and practical experience with BPMN for process modelling.Solid background in IT and software development environments (e.G., Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies).Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, actionable documentation.Experience working on systems related to digital security, cybersecurity, identity management, or data protection is highly desirable.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.The Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease note, applicants must have the legal right to work in Belgium.
