They are a dedicated unit responsible for Procurement & Programme Management Solutions. The client plays a central role in enabling digital transformation by delivering high‑quality procurement frameworks, programme management methodologies, and strategic support services. The unit ensures that large‑scale IT programmes are governed effectively, procured transparently, and executed with measurable impact across the EU administration. Operating at the intersection of policy, technology, and operational excellence, the unit provides the tools, processes, and expertise that empower departments to manage complex digital initiatives with confidence and accountability.
Our client is now looking for a Procurement Configuration Support Specialist to join their dynamic team and contribute to their mission.
Contract type: Freelancer agreement, or employment contract with a contract duration of 90 days, with the possibility for renewal based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advice on defining strategies for records, archives, and information management, including capture, selection, retention, and digital preservation.
• Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of records, archives, and information management systems and to the technical implementation of new or adapted policies.
• Identify requirements for content, records, archives and information management systems and draw up functional and/or technical specifications.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of metadata standards for content and records management, including archival description.
• Coordination with the project teams
• Configuration of eProcurement procedures in Pre-award.
• Preparation of extended configuration files (XLS, XLSX) for deployment following database rules.
• Testing the deployed configurations in lower environments.
• Modification of configuration files in case of errors.
• Configuration of eProcurement procedures in Post-award.
• Configuring the procedure within the application interface.
• Import and export of data.
• Documentation of system flows, configuration logic, and business processes.
• Report system issues and follow up on solutions.
• Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across DGs, Executive Agencies, and EUIBAs to support the onboarding and adoption of eProcurement solutions.
• Management and follow-up of Confluence and Jira tickets.
• Working in an international and multicultural Agile environment.
Key requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of wiki and collaborative sites
• Working knowledge of Jira / Confluence
• Experience with SQL and automation tools
• Knowledge of Procurement and financial systems
• Excellent communication skills: excellent writing skills and proven experience in creating and providing presentations in English.
• Experience in drafting, editing and reviewing web contents and user documentation related to information systems
• Excellent knowledge of wiki, collaborative sites and social networks
• Proven conceptual understanding of content structuring, storage, access and presentation elements
• Experience in change management related to the introduction of new information systems to end users
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Internet browsers, project management tools and asset/content management system.
