Brussels College is expanding the faculty for our Bachelor’s programmes in Zaventem. We are seeking passionate academic and IT industry experts to deliver specialized Computer Science modules. This role is ideal for professionals looking to share their expertise while maintaining their own corporate or freelance commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery & Assessment: Facilitate engaging lectures and grade examinations, projects, and assignments.
* Student Guidance: Provide actionable feedback and academic support during contact hours.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure course content reflects current industry trends.
Subject Areas Needed
Software Engineering (Java/Python), Data Science, Cybersecurity, Web Technologies, and Database Management.
Your Profile
* Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
* Experience: Professional industry experience or a background in higher education teaching.
* Language: Excellent command of English (all instruction is in English).
Practical Details & Invoicing
This role is strictly a B2B service provision. You will invoice Brussels College directly for the lecture hours delivered.
* Eligible Status: Full-time freelancers or professionals operating under the "indépendant complémentaire" / "zelfstandige in bijberoep" (secondary occupation) status.
* Requirements: A valid Belgian Enterprise number.
* Autonomy: You retain full pedagogical autonomy within the framework of our curriculum.
What We Offer
* Remuneration: €35 to €55 per hour, depending on experience. (Note: Teaching services for higher education are VAT-exempt under Article 44, § 2, 4° of the Belgian VAT Code).
