Not because it's trendy, but because we believe the shift towards conscious consumption is structural, inevitable and meaningful.We are now looking for an Investment Analyst who doesn't just want to analyze deals, but wants to understand systems, support founders and help build companies that matter.If spreadsheets energise you and you get curious about what people eat, how supply chains evolve, or how brands earn trust, then keep reading.What you will actually be doingAs Investment Analyst, you will work side-by-side with the Conscious Consumer investment team across the entire investment journey, from the very first conversation with founders to supporting portfolio companies after we invest.Your role will include:Deal sourcing and deal flow managementProactively sourcing new investment opportunities, both direct investments and fund investments, together with the Korys team and our networkRigorously managing a pipeline of investment opportunitiesUnderstanding marketsMapping value chains, consumer trends, business models and emerging technologiesBuilding a strong point of view on where value will be created in conscious consumptionInvestment analysisAnalysing companies in depth: market dynamics, positioning, strategy, financial performance and valuationTranslating complex insights into clear investment thinkingDeal executionSupporting transaction structuring and negotiationsPreparing investment memoranda and materials for decision-makingPortfolio engagementWorking hands-on with portfolio companies to help them move forward on strategic, financial or operational topicsMonitoring financial and operational performance of our portfolio companiesBuilding relationshipsEngaging with entrepreneurs, co-investors, advisors and ecosystem partnersGradually building your own trusted network in the conscious consumer spaceThis role is probably not for everyoneYou will enjoy this role if you:Are genuinely fascinated by food, nutrition, health, sustainability and consumer behaviourLike switching between analytical depth and entrepreneurial realityWant exposure to both private equity and venture-style investingAre comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy learning fastGet energy from working closely with founder-led businessesThis role may not be the right fit if you:Prefer strictly scoped, repetitive finance rolesAre mainly driven by deal volume or short-term returnsAre not curious about what happens beyond the spreadsheetWho we are looking forWe don't believe in a single "perfect profile", but you likely bring most of the following:A master's degree (economics, finance, business administration, engineering or similar)2-4 years of professional experience, ideally in investments, M&A, corporate finance or strategy consultingStrong analytical skills, with solid exposure to financial analysis and valuationA genuine interest in conscious consumption themesAn enthusiastic, open and hands-on mindsetThe ability to work autonomously while being a strong team playerComfort working in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environmentHigh ethical standardsFluency in English, and preferably Dutch and/or FrenchAbout KorysKorys is the entrepreneurial investment company of the Colruyt family (www.Korys.Be), based in Halle.
