We are currently looking for experienced Automation Managers to join an exciting and innovative industrial project within the energy transition sector
About the Role
As an Automation Manager, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of automation systems for a cutting-edge hydrogen production facility. You will lead and supervise automation activities, ensuring high-quality delivery while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the automation scope of the project from design to commissioning
* Oversee PLC programming, integration, and optimization of control systems
* Supervise and guide automation engineers and technicians
* Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
* Act as the main point of contact for automation-related topics
* Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams
* Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities on-site
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, or similar platforms)
* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within automation
* Solid background in industrial environments (process industry, energy, etc.)
* Experience in hydrogen, gas, chemical, or energy projects is a strong advantage
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus)
