Senior Technical Architect – Integration Platforms
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to drive the evolution of a hybrid integration platform connecting cloud-based and legacy enterprise systems. The role combines architecture leadership, solution design, hands-on development, and technical coaching, with a focus on data integration, enterprise data management, and electronic payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and maintain technical architectures for integration platforms and enterprise solutions.
* Design High-Level Designs (HLDs), technical architecture documents, and technical analyses.
* Lead the implementation of integration solutions across Azure and private cloud environments.
* Design and support Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and master data integration initiatives.
* Architect and oversee electronic payment integration solutions.
* Guide and mentor development teams while contributing to hands-on development activities.
* Ensure solution scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
* Produce technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience in technical architecture for hybrid integration platforms.
* Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including AKS, Service Bus, Event Grid, Storage, and monitoring solutions.
* Solid experience with containerization technologies, Kubernetes, Helm, and Kustomize.
* Strong background in Enterprise Data Management and data integration architectures.
* Experience with electronic payment platforms and financial data exchanges.
* Expert knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JPA/Hibernate, and REST/SOA architectures.
* Experience with Quarkus, SOAP services, WS-Security, and API management platforms.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and coaching capabilities.

Work Environment
* Hybrid working model.
* Minimum 2 days per week on-site in Brussels.
