The role supports Microsoft partners and customers across the full lifecycle, from envisioning possibilities to delivering solutions based on Microsoft Business Applications, Dynamics, Customer Experience, and AI platforms.ResponsibilitiesCOE Technical Pre-Sales and readiness: work with partners to drive technical pre-sales motions with Microsoft Business Applications and Power Platform workshop materialsUnderstand customer/partner technical environmentsArchitecture design and deployment: develop technical solutions and tailor them to customer/partner needsIntellectual Property and Practice Development: generate and improve IP, align with partner marketing messaging, promote reuse of IP across pre-sales and deliveryTrusted Advisor: build internal/external relationships, stay current on Microsoft technologies, and communicate Microsoft’s mission and capabilitiesThought Leadership: share strategic and technical input with technical and field teams; participate in external architect communities and mentor juniorsQualifications and core competencies: articulate architectural differences, lead cross-functional teams, and manage complex, large-scale deploymentsAdditional qualifications: domain experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, design documentation, and executive/technical presentation skillsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field with extensive cloud/architecture/consulting experience (Dynamics/Power Platform/Azure/GCP/AWS) ORMaster's Degree in same fields with solid cloud/architecture/consulting experience OR equivalent experienceExtensive experience in enterprise environments with a strong background in solution architectureProven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, particularly Business Central implementationsCore CompetenciesSolid functional and technical understanding of D365 applications including Service, Sales, and Customer InsightsAdvanced customization using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)Integration expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party systems via APIs/connectorsAI-driven process automation using Power AutomateExperience with complex migrations from on-premises to cloud for SMBsAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage technical project outcomesStrong technical selling and customer management skills; at least 5 years of implementation experienceExperience selling product and consulting engagements in competitive environmentsAbility to scope, estimate, and develop statements of work; knowledge of architectural patterns and multi-platform integrationFamiliarity with architectural tools and methodologies; strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skillsLarge enterprise deployment experience in complex environmentsAdditional QualificationsDomain experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure; understanding of security, compliance, and identity solutions across solutionsExperience writing design documentation and using Azure DevOps; ability to draft wireframes for custom appsExperience presenting technical topics to executive and technical audiencesUnderstanding of cloud/hybrid environments and solution architecture design, implementation, and supportAbility to identify business needs and determine solutions to improve processes, organizational change, or strategic planningStrong relationship-building with senior IT executives; collaboration and communication skills; ability to present to large and small audiencesTechnical QualificationsCloud architectural patterns using managed services, SaaS, and PaaS; experience with DevOps/DevSecOps; knowledge of modern data and cloud-native technologiesExperience with competitive application development services across public clouds is a plusMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
