Overview
We have a requirement for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major pharmaceutical construction project in Geel, Belgium. This is a high-profile opportunity to contribute to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for a leading global pharmaceutical client.
The position will require evening shift activities.

Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate electrical teams (contractors, technicians, and apprentices) on-site during the evening shift
2. Monitor daily progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
3. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and ensure proper implementation
4. Ensure all electrical installations meet pharma industry requirements, including GMP and cleanroom standards
5. Verify compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
6. Support validation and qualification activities for electrical systems (IQ/OQ/PQ)
7. Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols
8. Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety audits
9. Investigate and resolve safety incidents or near misses
10. Supervise installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, fire alarms, and process equipment connections
11. Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and process teams to ensure seamless integration
12. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning
13. Maintain accurate records of electrical works, inspections, and test results
14. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for project management
15. Support handover documentation for client and regulatory authorities
16. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical standards, safety requirements, and Belgian regulations
Qualifications
17. Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on large-scale construction projects
18. Experience within pharmaceutical, GMP, or cleanroom environments is a strong advantage
19. Bachelor degree or exceptionally strong trades' background
20. Significant experience of E&I roles on active construction projects
21. Ability to work effectively in an evening shift environment
22. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
