Role Description
As a Land Acquisition Setter you will manage a large portfolio of assigned parcels and serve as the first point of contact between Outlaw Ventures and landowners across the United States. Your primary responsibility is to initiate outreach, qualify interest, gather actionable context, and coordinate qualified meetings for our Acquisition Specialists.
Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication instincts, operational discipline, and the ability to maintain performance across a high-volume workflow. The individuals who excel in this position are naturally proactive, highly organized, technologically fluent, and capable of maintaining professionalism and consistency under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute high-volume outbound outreach campaigns to landowners across the United States through phone, text, email, and voicemail communication
* Build immediate credibility and rapport with landowners while clearly communicating Outlaw Ventures’ acquisition objectives and development vision.
* Maintain a disciplined call cadence and outreach strategy while sustaining professionalism and conversation quality throughout the day.
Qualification and Pipeline Development
* Assess and qualify landowner interest to determine viability for advancement within the acquisition pipeline.
* Gather critical contextual information regarding ownership, interest level, timing considerations, and site-related factors.
* Coordinate qualified appointments between landowners and Acquisition Specialists with complete and accurate briefing information.
CRM & Operational Excellence
* Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene across Monday.com, Excel, and internal tracking systems.
* Ensure all outreach activity, landowner conversations, status updates, and next steps are documented accurately and in real time.
* Manage hundreds of active parcel records simultaneously while maintaining organizational clarity and follow-through.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Provide Acquisition Specialists with high-quality handoff notes that create continuity and maximize meeting effectiveness.
* Deliver timely pipeline reporting and communicate landowner sentiment, engagement trends, and opportunity progression clearly to leadership.
* Operate with adaptability and composure in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with evolving priorities.
Qualifications
* Background in land acquisition, real estate, or a related field preferred.
* Working knowledge of purchase agreements, real estate negotiation, and pipeline or database management.
* Foundational understanding of land rights, encumbrances, and title ownership.
* Proficient in project management and CRM tools such as Monday.com, with the capacity to adapt quickly to new platforms.
* Resourceful and solutions-oriented, with the ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity without constant direction.
* Exceptional communicator with the ability to simplify complex deal structures and establish credibility in cold outreach scenarios.
* Commission Potential with OTE of $80,000+ annually
