Double Pass, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, is a global leader in football talent development. Rooted in over 20 years of applied research and innovation at the University of Brussels (VUB), we help football organisations strengthen their Talent Development and Team Value Management systems. As Football Development & Operations Manager, you will help shape the football expertise that sits at the heart of Double Pass while supporting the delivery of projects around the world.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a deep passion for and knowledge of football and talent development who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical execution. You will spend part of your time developing football content, frameworks, and methodologies, and part of your time supporting international projects through coordination, stakeholder engagement, and onsite visits to clubs, leagues, and federations.
You are equally comfortable behind a desk researching best practices and creating high-quality football content as you are travelling to support projects in the field. Success in this role requires strong football expertise, a structured approach to work, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
As a member of the Double Pass HQ team, you will work closely with colleagues and clients across the world, helping ensure that our football knowledge is translated into practical solutions that create impact for clubs, leagues, and federations.
Content Creation: Design, structure, and produce football technical and management content in alignment with the DP Model. This includes frameworks for talent development, coaching methodologies, performance management tools, and educational curricula tailored to different organisational profiles.
~ Research and Development: Monitor global football trends, emerging best practices, and applied research across coaching, sports science, data analytics, and organisational development. Translate insights into concrete improvements to our content library and advisory frameworks, keeping Double Pass at the forefront of the field.
~ Project Operations: Support the day-to-day operations of multiple international projects across our solutions and target groups. You will drive process management and ensure structured project follow-up as a core part of the role.
~ Contribute to the integration of AI tools and digital platforms into our content and operational workflows. Explore how emerging technologies can enhance the content, personalisation, and impact of our programmes.
~ Team Coordination & Knowledge Sharing: Coordinate with consultants, subject-matter experts, and project managers across the Double Pass network. Minimum 2 years of experience in Coaching, Technical Football Development, Football Operations, or a closely related field, with clear progression towards senior responsibility.
Comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary teams (consultants, content experts, analysts,…).
Experience in sports organizations, federations, performance analytics, or football-related environments.
Affinity with data, digital tools, and technology-driven approaches to football development; Fluent in Dutch and English (Spanish is a meaningful added value given our international portfolio).
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
