We are looking for a HSE Specialist to support and enhance health, safety, and environmental performance within a highly regulated industrial environment. This role focuses on explosion safety, process safety, industrial risk management, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe operations, effective risk control, and continuous improvement across the site.
* Conduct risk assessments, hazardous area classifications, and process safety studies to identify and mitigate operational risks.
* Support technical change management processes and evaluate safety measures for industrial installations and equipment.
* Implement and maintain HSE procedures, standards, and compliance programs.
* Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
* Deliver safety training, support operational teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What we expect from you:
* Degree in Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Chemistry, Safety, or a related technical field.
* Experience in industrial, process, manufacturing, logistics, or chemical environments.
* Strong knowledge of ATEX regulations, Process Safety Management (PSM),
* Experience working within highly regulated industrial environments is advantageous.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluency in Dutch and English.
