What you will do
* Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for Azure-based data initiatives.
* Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable data solutions.
* Produce and maintain Solution Architecture Documents (SAD) and drive architecture governance approvals.
* Design data platforms and integration solutions using Azure cloud services.
* Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Application Architects, Project Managers, and delivery teams.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and best practices.
* Guide technical teams throughout design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
* Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
* Promote reuse of existing platforms, services, and architectural patterns.
* Support project estimation activities and provide technical leadership to stakeholders.
What you bring
* Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Solution Architect.
* Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure data and integration services.
* Hands-on knowledge of Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Cosmos DB.
* Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud architectures.
* Familiarity with Azure API Management, Azure App Services, and Azure DevOps.
* Strong understanding of solution architecture governance and documentation practices.
* Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to coach and mentor technical teams.
* Experience within regulated environments is a plus.
