Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist who will play a strategic role in supporting accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and integrity of reported financial information, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of processes.
Your Impact
* Review and analyze account balances, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting standards.
* Ensure the reliability and consistency of financial data used in internal and external reporting, including regulatory filings (10-Q/10-K).
* Provide guidance to the accounting team, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and SOX requirements.
* Support financial reporting processes, including cash flow preparation, intercompany eliminations, and ad hoc reporting requests.
* Drive process improvements, enhance controls, and support system implementations (e.g., OneStream), ensuring data governance and operational efficiency.
Your Experience and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial reporting with strong knowledge of BR GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
* Experience with reporting systems (OneStream, HFM/Hyperion) and knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Power Pivot, Power BI).
* Experience with system migrations/implementations and process improvements.
* Previous experience in internal and external audit (Big Four) is a plus.
* Advanced English proficiency with strong communication skills for interaction with local and global teams; Spanish is desirable.
