PpWe are looking for a Data Architect to lead the Patient Solutions Data Foundations team, based in Slough, UK (Windlesham, Surrey 2027), Braine l’Alleud, Belgium or Boston, US. /p h3About The Role /h3 pYou will play a key role in shaping how data is structured, governed, and used across the organisation. You will define standards for data and metadata, enabling scalable, high-quality data foundations that support research, innovation, and AI‑driven insights. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine and govern enterprise ontologies and identifiers to ensure consistent and traceable data across the organisation /li liImplement scalable metadata management processes to improve data quality, lineage, and discoverability /li liLead adoption of AI tools to automate metadata extraction and improve knowledge management /li liPartner with data owners to embed standards at the point of data creation /li liDesign and refine scalable data models aligned to research and business needs /li liDevelop data products supporting priority programmes and strategic use cases /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or related field /li liExperience in enterprise data architecture, metadata governance, and data modelling /li liStrong understanding of structured and unstructured data management /li liExperience applying AI‑driven approaches to data or metadata management /li liAbility to work across complex environments and collaborate with diverse stakeholders /li liRelevant certifications (e.g. DAMA, TOGAF, CDMP) are a plus /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pUCB is an equal opportunity employer.
