As a Solo Legal Counsel your responsibilities are:
* Providing pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice to senior stakeholders
* Acting as the legal representative of the company across all operations
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements
* Overseeing corporate governance and compliance matters
* Acting as legal risk gatekeeper, identifying and mitigating risks
* Managing disputes and litigation, in collaboration with external law firms
* Coordinating with and managing external legal counsel
* Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of legal files
* Monitoring Belgian and EU regulatory developments and advising on their impact
A successful Solo Legal Counsel should have:
* Master's degree in Law (Belgium)
* 5 to 10 years of relevant experience (law firm and/or in-house)
* Strong expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, and governance
* Experience in a regulated environment is a plus
* Ability to work in full autonomy in a solo legal role
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with C-level stakeholders and public institutions
* Languages:
o Dutch: Fluent
o English: Fluent
o French: Professional level
* Salary up 90.000 EUR gross/ year in 13,92 instalments
