Ph3Job Description /h3 pThe Senior Project Engineer acts as the Technical Lead on assigned projects and supports the Project Manager in coordinating, planning, and executing the engineering scope. Acting as the technical end‑responsible for complex, multidisciplinary projects, the Senior Project Engineer mentors the engineering team. /p pResponsibilities include: /p ul liServe as the technical SPOC and Technical Lead for racking and robotics projects. /li liLead the technical execution of projects from handover until final implementation in close collaboration with the Project Manager. /li liStudy and analyze all technical documentation provided by internal and external stakeholders and translate it into the most efficient technical solution within given constraints. /li liIdentify missing information, technical risks, and interface issues, and define mitigating actions to ensure successful project execution. /li liCoordinate technical requirements, specifications, engineering scope, and technical change management throughout the project lifecycle. /li liProduce, review, and validate required technical documentation, calculations, layouts, and reports to support the proposed solution and customer approvals. /li liPerform and coordinate CAD design reviews, interface checks, collision validations, and layout approvals to ensure feasibility, quality, and compliance with project requirements. /li liReview and validate designs, calculations, and drawings from subcontractors, junior and medior engineers, and support implementation of engineering standards and best practices. /li liCoordinate, instruct, and follow up engineering team members and external engineering partners assigned to projects. /li liAct as the technical lead towards customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments on all engineering-related topics. /li liEnsure machine safety compliance by coordinating safety layouts, concepts, safety matrix definitions, and technical safety validations during design and execution phases. /li liSupport project planning, milestone follow‑up, budgeting, variation orders, and technical risk assessments. /li liAttend and lead technical meetings, site inspections, and on‑site activities when required. /li liAssist in supplier selection, technical evaluation of quotations, and technical follow‑up during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases. /li liSupport stakeholders during execution to ensure proper implementation of the approved technical solution and assist during engineering, installation, and commissioning. /li liGuide and coach junior and medior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the engineering team. /li liAct as Ambassador of the company toward all stakeholders. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Engineering (electromechanics, industrial design, etc.) or equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant experience in project engineering or technical project execution. /li liGood knowledge of English; Dutch, French, and/or German is a plus. /li liStrong technical leadership and communication skills. /li liStrong sense of initiative, stress resistance, and dynamism. /li liKnowledge of stability and strength calculations. /li liAffinity with materials and industrial installations. /li liGood knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel. /li liExperience with CAD design reviews, multidisciplinary engineering coordination, and machine safety is a strong plus. /li liExperience coordinating engineering teams and multidisciplinary projects is a strong plus. /li liWillingness to travel abroad. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 h3What do we offer you? /h3 ul liYou will work closely with other rack specialists in an open and enthusiastic environment. /li liThe necessary freedom and possibility to take initiative. /li liIntensive training by experienced people. /li liAn attractive salary in an international environment with many benefits: /li liul liCompany car with fuel card/charging pass /li liGroup health insurance /li liMeal vouchers (8 €) /li liNet allowances /li liCAO90 Bonus /li liLaptop /li liiPhone + subscription /li li20 days of vacation plus 12 extra days for working a full year on a 40h‑workweek instead of 38h (32 leave days in total) /li /ul /li liSatellite office in Berchem (Antwerp) /li /ul pUnsolicited representations by third parties (recruitment agencies, headhunters, etc.) of CVs via mail and/or telephone for our vacancies are considered as direct applications where no compensation is provided to the third party.
