IT/OT Engineer (m/f/d)
About the role
As an IT/OT Engineer, you will translate business and technical requirements into robust, future-proof IT/OT solutions within a pharmaceutical environment. You combine knowledge of IT infrastructure and operational technology with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and innovation.
Your responsibilities
1. Analyse business and technical requirements
2. Design and document IT/OT architectures and system topologies
3. Support implementation and coordinate integrations with vendors
4. Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP, and relevant regulations
5. Drive process optimization and automation initiatives
6. Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals
Your profile
7. You have 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical environment
8. You have strong knowledge of IT infrastructures and automation systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, Historians)
9. You understand system architectures, integrations, data flows, and communication protocols
10. You are familiar with GMP/GAMP requirements and pharma compliance standards
11. You are an effective communicator, able to explain and defend technical solutions to stakeholders
12. You are a team player with proven leadership capabilities when needed
13. You are fluent in English
14. You are based in or willing to relocate to the Kempen region, Belgium
