Join us as a SOC Manager. /ppThis position is based at our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Transinne, a village in the Belgian municipality of Libin. /ppAs SOC Manager, you will lead and coordinate the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable cybersecurity monitoring and incident response services. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day SOC operations, managing and developing the team, and driving process maturity and service performance in line with client SLAs and organizational cyber defense standards. /ppIn this role, you will translate strategic objectives into operational excellence, ensuring consistent and effective detection, analysis, escalation, and response across both client and internal environments. /ppSOC Operations Service Delivery /ppLead daily Security Operations Center (SOC) activities across Tier 1–3 analysts and SOC engineers. /ppEnsure 24/7 operational coverage, effective workload distribution, and adherence to SLAs. /ppOversee the full incident lifecycle, including detection, triage, escalation, and response governance. /ppMaintain and continuously improve SOC procedures, playbooks, and key performance indicators (KPIs). /ppEnsure high quality, consistency, and accuracy in alert handling and incident reporting. /ppPeople Leadership Capability Development /ppManage, coach, and develop SOC analysts and engineers. /ppDefine performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and support career progression. /ppDesign and implement training and continuous improvement plans to enhance SOC maturity. /ppFoster a high-performing, resilient, and engaged team culture. /ppService Management Client Engagement /ppOwn the operational onboarding and offboarding of SOC clients and services. /ppContribute to client governance meetings and service review discussions. /ppDeliver internal and external reporting on threats, incidents, SOC performance, and trends. /ppSupport audits, compliance reviews, and evidence collection as the SOC representative. /ppDrive operational improvements based on metrics, incident analysis, and lessons learned. /ppCollaborate with internal teams to enhance SOC service delivery. /ppIdentify and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and false-positive reduction. /ppPlanning, Budget Stakeholder Coordination /ppPrepare and track SOC budget forecasts and resource planning activities. /ppMonitor service costs and operational efficiency (without full budget ownership). /ppEscalate major incidents, SLA breaches, and staffing risks to senior management. /ph3Qualifications /h3pMandatory Skills and Experience /ppMinimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including SOC or incident response. /ppAt least 3 years in a leadership or management role within a SOC environment. /ppHands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, threat detection, and incident response workflows. /ppStrong understanding of SOC operations, including processes, SLAs, escalation models, and reporting. /ppExperience working in regulated or large enterprise environments. /ppProven people management skills, including coaching and performance management. /ppExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into clear, actionable insights. /ppStructured and process-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence. /ppAbility to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure. /ppFluent in English, both written and spoken. /ppNice-to-Have Skills and Experience /ppDegree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. /ppRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCIH, or similar. /ph3Additional Information /h3pDo you picture yourself in a fast-growing, vibrant team at the cutting edge of software implementation?
