We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Authorizations Project Consultant to join our global Authorization consulting team. In this role, you will take ownership of authorization rollout projects across Würth companies, with a strong focus on Global Würth SAP ERP. You will act as a key contact for authorization-related consulting topics, supporting the implementation of governance standards, advising stakeholders, and contributing to license- and audit-related activities within the Würth Group SAP landscape.
This role is designed as an intermediary consultant position, centered on project delivery, advisory responsibilities, governance, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate combines solid SAP Authorization expertise with project experience, a structured consulting mindset, and the ability to interact confidently with internal stakeholders in an international environment.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for authorization rollout projects across Würth companies, with a particular focus on Global Würth SAP ERP .
* Support the planning, coordination, and execution of authorization-related project activities during rollouts.
* Advise internal stakeholders on SAP authorization concepts, governance requirements, and best practices.
* Contribute to the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of authorization standards and governance processes.
* Act as an interface between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts on authorization-related matters.
* Support topics related to SAP license management and audit requirements, ensuring alignment with internal standards and compliance expectations.
* Analyze authorization concepts and business requirements to design suitable and sustainable solutions.
* Collaborate closely with central Group Functions such as Controlling and Audit to ensure compliance with Würth Group standards and policies.
* Document project results, authorization concepts, and process improvements in a structured and transparent manner.
* Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to users and project stakeholders where required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in SAP, with a focus on Authorizations .
* Experience in SAP projects, ideally in rollout or implementation environments.
* Solid knowledge of SAP Authorization concepts and related governance requirements.
* Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
* Good understanding of SAP license management and audit-related processes .
* Basic ABAP skills are an advantage.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
* Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently while also contributing successfully within a team environment.
* Proficiency in English ; German would be an advantage.
* Willingness to travel when required in the context of rollout projects.
