CATIA Mechanical Designer
You ensure the delivery of high-quality design outputs and drawing sets, while applying the standards, rules, and tools established within the design office.
You will work on technically challenging projects involving complex mechanical assemblies, requiring precision, rigor, and a strong understanding of manufacturing constraints.
Design complex mechanical assemblies, including applications such as telescopes, space-related systems, vacuum environments, and other high-precision mechanical products
Manage product structures in close collaboration with the project’s ELM engineer
Take manufacturing processes into account to define the most efficient way to produce each part, and adapt designs according to manufacturing possibilities
Produce complete drawing sets containing the technical information required for manufacturing, whether internally, in workshops, or through subcontractors
Ensure follow-up with subcontractors and support the manufacturing process when needed
You hold a Bachelor’s degree as a Mechanical Draughtsman / Designer, or an Industrial Engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical or electromechanical engineering
You have strong command of 3D design and technical drawing software, ideally CATIA V5
You know how to manage assemblies and product structures in CATIA
You are fluent in French, Knowledge of English is considered an asset
Experience in subcontractor follow-up, manufacturing follow-up, or integration follow-up is a strong plus
