Job Overview
As a Process Specialist for Amazon's Sorting Centers, you will be the guardian of quality control at Earth's most customer‑centric company. You will adopt and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across our SC network.
Key Responsibilities
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all operational processes.
* Lead process integration efforts at our Sorting Centers.
* Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives, Kaizens, Root Cause Analysis, etc.
* Own and manage change on a granular level.
* Perform audits to ensure continuous SOP adoption and eliminate defects and deviations.
* Work with teams both inside and outside of Operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure we are always delivering the best possible service to our customers.
A Day in the Life
Work closely with all Ops teams to offer support and expertise, gaining insight into bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Teams you will collaborate with include SC Ops, First Mile and Last Mile teams, Learning, Finance, HR, and Loss Prevention.
Additionally, collaborate with counterpart teams in other geographies to benchmark processes and ensure conformity with Amazon Standard Work.

The Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team is composed of highly qualified individuals focused on safeguarding the quality and productivity of our operations and continuously improving and innovating. The team monitors metrics, raises performance and efficiency standards, adopts new technology and procedures, and provides subject‑matter expertise to peers.

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience in program or project management.
* Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
* Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
* Advanced English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
* Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
* Experience identifying and resolving complex issues.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
* Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.
* Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks.
