* Support the Compliance team with second-line compliance activities across the organization
* Provide advice, analyses, validations, and follow-up on compliance-related matters
* Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into actionable compliance measures
* Support the update of policies, procedures, governance documents, and internal standards
* Contribute to monitoring exercises, thematic reviews, and remediation action plans
* Assist business and support functions with pragmatic and risk-based compliance guidance
* Prepare presentations, reports, briefing notes, and management deliverables
* Support transformation, optimization, and remediation initiatives impacting the compliance function
* Collaborate closely with Compliance Officers, business lines, subsidiaries, and support teams
* Act as a senior compliance point of reference while ensuring business continuity and high-quality deliverables
Experience Required
* Strong experience in Compliance within insurance or broader financial services environments
* Proven experience working in second-line compliance functions
* Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks and market practices
* Experience in compliance monitoring, governance, advisory, and remediation activities
* Ability to independently manage complex files and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
* Strong analytical, drafting, coordination, and communication skills
* Ability to provide clear, pragmatic, xphnsxz and business-oriented recommendations
* High ethical standards, discretion, and sound judgment
* Experience interacting with a wide range of stakeholders across business and support functions
* Relevant degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
* Fluent in Dutch or French with good knowledge of the other language, and professional English skills
* Comfortable working onsite/hybrid in Brussels
* Experience in AML/CFT is not required for this role
