Data Visualisation Specialist Brussels (50% on site / 50% remote Freelance Contract: 08/06/2026 – 07/06/2027Languages: Must be fluent in Dutch, French, and EnglishWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Visualisation Specialist to join an Operational Control and Reporting team.In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality business reporting and dashboards that support operational control, regulatory requirements, and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders and data engineers to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and data visualisation needsTranslate business requirements into prototypes and fully developed dashboardsCollect, prepare, and structure data for effective visualisation and analysisDesign, develop, publish, maintain, and decommission dashboards across their full lifecycleImprove automation and efficiency of reporting solutionsWork with Data Engineers to develop sustainable and scalable data solutionsPromote data reuse, consistency, and alignment with data strategyEnsure compliance with data governance, security, and reporting standardsAct as a champion of reporting best practices within the organisationDocument solutions and deliver user training on reporting tools and dashboardsContribute to optimisation initiatives and innovative data projectsDeliver recurring operational reporting aligned with evolving requirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in data visualisation or reporting rolesStrong experience with data visualisation and dashboard designAdvanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI (Tableau is a plus)Understanding of data warehouses, data marts, and data pipelinesAbility to prepare and structure data for reporting purposesStrong awareness of data governance and security principlesProficiency in SQL (mandatory)SAS knowledge is a plusPython knowledge is an advantageExperience with reporting automation and optimisationExcellent communication and data storytelling skillsAbility to translate complex data into clear business insightsStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsExperience in banking or financial servicesKnowledge of GDPR and data governance frameworks is an advantageApply now or reach out to lydia.wills@church-int.com
