We are looking for an Employer Branding Specialist to support the employer branding and talent attraction activities of a leading Belgian company operating in the energy sector.

The consultant will contribute to both strategic and operational employer branding initiatives, helping strengthen the organization's visibility as an employer of choice. This role combines content creation, campaign management, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement across educational institutions, student communities, and internal communication channels.


Working closely with communication, HR, and branding teams, you will help develop innovative initiatives that attract future talent while supporting the company's broader growth and transformation objectives.

Role: Employer Branding Specialist

Contract: Freelance

Sector: Energy / Utilities

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Remote work policy applicable (hybrid working model)

Daily rate: €500/day excl. VAT



Key Responsibilities

Employer Branding & Content Creation

* Develop employer branding campaigns across multiple channels.
* Create and coordinate content such as:
* Videos
* Strategic communication plans
* Monthly newsletters
* Intranet communications
* Employer branding materials
* Develop and maintain content calendars for digital and social media channels.
* Ensure consistent employer branding messaging across platforms.

Events & Talent Attraction

* Organize and coordinate school visits and student association partnerships.
* Plan and follow up on recruitment and job fair participation.
* Coordinate guest lecturer initiatives with secondary schools and educational institutions.
* Support employer branding events and awareness campaigns.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and engagement initiatives.

Communication & Stakeholder Support

* Provide strategic and operational support for offline employer branding activities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and events.
* Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
* Support initiatives that strengthen the organization's employer value proposition.


Required Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in:
* Employer Branding
* Communications
* Marketing
* Human Resources
* Talent Attraction
* Experience managing communication campaigns and engagement initiatives.
* Experience coordinating events and stakeholder interactions is an advantage.


Technical Skills

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office:
* Outlook
* Teams
* PowerPoint
* Word
* Excel
* Experience creating communication and marketing content.
* Understanding of digital communication channels and content planning.

* Dutch: Fluent

Experience required:

* Experience in Communications, Marketing, HR, or Employer Branding
* Experience with content creation and campaign management
* Experience organizing events and stakeholder engagement activities

Eligibility Requirements (for non-EU candidates):
