Ph3Job Description /h3pWe are looking for a Lead System Engineer Consultant to support the development and delivery of complex defence and security systems. /ph3Position Summary /h3pAs a Lead System Engineer Consultant, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering activities across complex, mission‑critical systems. You will act as the technical focal point between the customer, project management, and engineering teams, ensuring that the proposed system solutions meet operational, performance, quality, and contractual requirements throughout the full development lifecycle. You will also manage and coordinate an engineering team of approximately 10 to 15 engineers, promoting technical excellence, collaboration, and efficient project execution. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and coordinate a team of 10 to 15 system, software, hardware, and integration engineers. /liliDefine and maintain system architecture, requirements, and technical baselines. /liliManage system engineering activities throughout the full V‑cycle development process. /liliTranslate customer and operational needs into technical requirements and system specifications. /liliEnsure requirements traceability, consistency, and verification readiness. /liliCoordinate interfaces between internal engineering disciplines and external stakeholders. /liliConduct technical reviews, design reviews, and engineering decision boards. /liliIdentify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and opportunities. /liliSupport project planning, resource allocation, and workload prioritization. /liliEnsure compliance with defence, safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards. /liliContribute to proposal preparation, feasibility studies, and technical roadmaps. /liliSupport integration, validation, qualification, and customer acceptance activities. /liliReport technical progress, issues, and recommendations to project management and customer representatives. /liliMentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliStrong knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies and standards. /liliExperience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or equivalent. /liliFamiliarity with Model‑Based Systems Engineering concepts. /liliExperience in defence, aerospace, transportation, or another safety‑critical industry. /liliGood understanding of software, hardware, integration, verification, and validation activities. /liliStrong technical leadership and risk management capabilities. /liliExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills. /liliAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams in an international environment. /li /ulh3Desired Qualifications /h3ulliMaster's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline. /liliINCOSE certification is considered an asset. /liliExperience with complex mission‑critical systems. /liliKnowledge of configuration management and systems integration processes. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
