Network Engineer
Job Overview
Contract role focused on designing, implementing, securing, and supporting modern enterprise network infrastructures in on-premises and cloud environments for a 6 to 12 month engagement with hybrid work requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructures covering LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity.
Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access architectures and security best practices.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security policies.
Deploy and support Prisma Access and Prisma Cloud solutions.
Manage switching and routing environments using Cisco and HPE/Aruba technologies.
Monitor network performance, availability, and security posture using enterprise monitoring and SIEM tools.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure network integration.
Support VPN technologies, network segmentation, NAC, and identity-aware access controls.
Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and lifecycle management.
Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network and security issues.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when applicable.

3-7 years of experience in network or infrastructure engineering
Experience implementing or supporting Zero Trust security models

Certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, or Aruba credentials
