You will work closely with clients to optimise
energy
and
CO₂ performance
across the entire lifecycle of their real estate assets, translating complex analyses into clear,
actionable solutions .
In concrete terms, as an
Energy & Carbon Consultant
based in Ghent/Brussels, you will:
Support
sustainable real estate projects
throughout their full lifecycle, from development to operation.
Analyse building
energy performance
and
CO₂ emissions
across the full lifecycle.
Develop technical and energy concepts focused on efficiency and carbon reduction.
Conduct
energy audits, monitoring,
and
data analysis
to support energy transition and decision-making (CRREM, EPC, EPB).
Advise clients on
energy optimisation
within sustainability and certification frameworks (BREEAM, DGNB, WELL).
Support the implementation of
decarbonisation strategies
within client organisations and project teams.
Collaborate with internal and external experts in
multidisciplinary teams .

Qualifications
A master’s degree in civil or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience in B2B real estate, energy, or sustainability.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, energy, and building technical systems.
Next to English, good command of French or Dutch.
