Customer Program Manager

Location:

Kortrijk, BE

This role holds end to end responsibility for a portfolio of products and solutions rather than a single product. It carries full accountability across the entire lifecycle, from strategy to execution, ongoing management and eventual phase out. It requires continuously balancing customer value, technical feasibility and business performance, while acting as the single point of accountability for all product related decisions within the defined scope.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Portfolio Strategy

1. Define and own the product and portfolio strategy aligned with healthcare and segment strategy
2. Translate market, customer, technology and competitive insights into clear strategic choices
3. Set and communicate a multi year roadmap at portfolio level
4. Make explicit investment and prioritization trade offs across the portfolio
5. Decide on lifecycle positioning: invest, sustain, harvest, consolidate or exit

Business & Economic Ownership

6. Own the business case and economic performance of the portfolio
7. Drive decisions based on margin, cost structure, ROI, revenue mix and cash impact
8. Define and steer pricing strategies and value capture models
9. Actively manage cost, complexity and lifecycle profitability
10. Take full accountability for commercial outcomes, not just deliveryEnd to End Lifecycle Management

End to End Lifecycle Management

11. Own the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to end of life
12. Make go, no go and stop decisions based on facts and business impact
13. Ensure lifecycle decisions are consistently executed across Sales, R&D, Operations and Service
14. Anticipate and manage risks such as obsolescence, capacity constraints, quality issues and margin erosion

Cross Functional Leadership & Governance

15. Lead cross functional teams without hierarchical authority
16. Act as integrator across Product, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Service and Sales
17. Provide clear direction, priorities and decision making
18. Resolve conflicts with a strong business first mindset and escalate when needed

Product Leadership & Capability Building

19. Act as a role model for strong product management within Healthcare
20. Coach and challenge Product Managers and stakeholders
21. Help shape governance, decision frameworks and ways of working
22. Bring in external perspectives and best practices

36. Builds trust through consistency, clarity and sound judgment
