To support this ambition, we are looking for a Head of Compensation & Benefits, HR for our Cluster East region.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Compensation & Benefits strategy and Payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing, and delivering harmonized C&B programs that support business objectives and employee engagement.
You will work closely with the HR Director Cluster East, HR teams, Business Leaders, and Finance stakeholders, playing a key role in driving operational excellence, compliance, and process improvements across the region.
Your role

As Head of Compensation & Benefits, HR, you will combine strategic oversight, operational expertise, and leadership to ensure strong payroll and C&B delivery across Cluster East.
Your responsibilities include

Leading and developing Payroll and C&B teams across the Cluster, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing
Overseeing payroll administration, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, statutory contributions, and reimbursements
Designing and implementing competitive salary structures, incentive programs, and benefits packages aligned with business objectives and market benchmarks
Conducting market analyses, benchmarking, and surveys to inform compensation strategies
Supporting business leaders with compensation decisions, including job grading, salary adjustments, and incentive plans
Driving harmonization and standardization of Payroll and C&B processes across countries and entities where feasible
Leading payroll and C&B projects, system implementations, process improvements, and policy updates
Ensuring compliance with local and regional labor law, tax regulations, social security legislation, and internal policies
Providing accurate reporting and analytics on payroll, benefits, and compensation metrics to HR and Finance leadership
Ensuring audit readiness and supporting internal and external audits
What you bring

We are looking for an experienced HR leader with strong expertise in payroll operations and compensation & benefits management across multiple countries.
Your qualifications include

A relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
10+ years of experience in HR, including payroll management and compensation & benefits leadership
Proven experience managing multi-country payroll and C&B operations in Europe
Experience leading payroll and C&B teams, directly or indirectly
Strong knowledge of labor law, tax regulations, and social security legislation across multiple countries
Hands‑on experience working with external payroll providers and managing vendor relationships
Professional fluency in English
You are also:

A strong communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
Structured, pragmatic, and results‑oriented
Culturally aware and able to work across multiple countries
A confident decision‑maker with strong problem‑solving and compliance focus
Experienced in coaching, leading, and developing Payroll and C&B teams to deliver high performance
