This hybrid role is approximately 70% engineering and 30% analysis, combining hands‑on implementation with security monitoring, investigation, and advisory work. /p pYou will be part of a highly skilled, collaborative global team, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security across our enterprise. The role involves deploying and operating security tools, investigating incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, and advising on security best practices. /p pYou report to the Global Network Security Competence Team Lead. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libSecurity Monitoring Incident Response /b – Monitor global ICT systems for security issues, investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend remediation actions. /li libEngineering Implementation /b – Deploy, configure, and operate security tools and solutions according to the corporate security roadmap. /li libVulnerability Management /b – Identify, assess, and address security risks; implement measures to prevent recurrence. /li libCollaboration Advisory /b – Work closely with the Security Architect and ICT teams to advance security capabilities, integrate new technologies, and ensure alignment with corporate policies. /li libDocumentation Knowledge Sharing /b – Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and security procedures; contribute to operational and continuity plans. /li libProject Participation /b – Lead and/or support security-related projects such as upgrades, tool integrations, and process improvements. /li libContinuous Improvement /b – Stay informed on evolving security threats, standards, and technologies to enhance detection, response, and prevention capabilities. /li libCross‑Functional Support /b – Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors during incident handling and system upgrades. /li libTravel /b – Occasional travel (max. a few days/month), mainly within Europe, to support projects and incident response. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Core Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). /li li3–5 years of experience in network/system administration with at least exposure to information security. /li liGeneral technical background in ICT infrastructure (firewalls, proxies, email security, antivirus, Active Directory, Azure/M365, Windows/Linux OS, virtualization platforms). /li liEntry‑level experience in cybersecurity with familiarity in: /li ul liSIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management (CTEM), SASE, and security analytics concepts. /li liPowerShell and/or Python scripting. /li liOT network security fundamentals. /li /ul liBasic understanding of risk assessment principles. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills Knowledge /h3 ul liStrong analytical ability to consolidate data from multiple sources into clear insights. /li liKnowledge of common security frameworks (NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST). /li liExperience with Tessenderlo Group's security platforms is a plus: /li ul liDarktrace, TrendMicro, Fortinet, … /li /ul liStrong communication skills in Dutch‑English or French‑English, both written and spoken. /li liTeam‑oriented, proactive, and able to work in a multicultural, global context. /li /ul h3Key Competencies /h3 ul liStrong problem‑solving and investigative mindset. /li liAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. /li liHigh attention to detail and process discipline. /li liCommitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging threats. /li liCustomer‑focused with a high level of professionalism. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ul liA role with responsibilities and a wide variety of activities. /li liParticipate in ambitious challenges. /li liInvest in activities that make sense, in building a better world, because every molecule counts. /li /ul pIn a caring environment, in an agile collaborative mode.
