Tester Service/Project
Overview
Atrias is looking for a Medior Tester to strengthen its testing organization and support both internal projects and services as well as external stakeholders, including DGOs and energy suppliers. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality releases, minimizing business impact from incidents and outages, and supporting project delivery in close collaboration with vendors and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will perform functional, regression, and sanity testing, manage defects, support analysis activities, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the testing team.
Key Responsibilities
Test Execution
* Perform sanity and regression testing within defined timelines.
* Design and execute test cases for new changes and projects.
* Execute functional testing activities.
* Support ad-hoc analysis requests from Problem & Change Analysts.
Defect Management
* Log and track defects in ALM QC.
* Retest resolved defects and document outcomes.
* Follow defect management procedures and quality standards.
* Ensure accurate reporting of test results.
Incident Management
* Log and follow up incidents discovered in the SAT environment.
* Support investigation of technical issues affecting testing activities.
Documentation & Reporting
* Produce clear and accurate test documentation.
* Report testing progress, risks, issues, and defect status.
* Maintain proper administrative follow-up of testing activities.
Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer
* Participate in stand-ups and team meetings.
* Share knowledge with backup testers and analysts.
* Collaborate closely with vendors, analysts, and test coordinators.
* Communicate proactively regarding risks and project status.
Required Skills & Experience
Testing Experience
* 4+ years of experience as a Functional Software Tester.
* 3+ years of experience as a Test Specialist.
* Experience writing test scenarios.
* Experience with test design, planning, and execution.
* Experience with formal testing methods and techniques.
* ISTQB Foundation Certification (or higher).
Energy Sector Experience
* Experience with batch processing in the energy market.
* Knowledge of:
o Billing
o Infeed
o Settlement
* Experience working with MIG6/DGO standards.
* Experience with utility billing platforms such as Mecoms or similar solutions.
Technical Skills
* SQL query writing and execution.
* XML.
* SOAP UI.
* Test documentation and defect management.
* Waterfall testing methodology.
Languages
* English at CEFR C1 level.
* Dutch or French at CEFR C1 level.
* Minimum B1 level in the second national language.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies.
* Knowledge of the Belgian energy sector.
* Experience with test automation.
