We're gathering an extraordinary team to tackle one of the world's toughest challenges, and we’re looking for a world-class Principal Software Engineer to design and implement technology solutions that scale our impact and bring this mission to life.
Responsibilities:
* Architect, design, and develop core services and platform infrastructure
* Drive the technical vision and roadmap for Sanctu’s platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
* Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers, fostering an innovative and collaborative environment
* Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to translate goals into technical solutions
* Implement best practices for software development, including CI/CD, code reviews, and testing
* Work with data science and analytics teams to build AI-powered tools that aid farmers and promote forest regeneration
Qualifications :
* 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on scalable web platforms
* Proven expertise in backend and infrastructure design, ideally with experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Strong understanding of data security, distributed systems, and API design
* Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to guide and inspire engineering teams
* Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus
