Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Jira & Polarion ALM Consultant to support the optimization, administration, and continuous improvement of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and project management environments.
In this role, you will act as the key interface between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and platform administrators, ensuring that Jira and Polarion are effectively configured and aligned with operational and project requirements. You will contribute to enhancing collaboration, traceability, reporting, and workflow efficiency across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and configure Jira and Polarion environments.
Gather, analyze, and formalize requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
Translate operational and engineering needs into efficient tool configurations and workflows.
Adapt and optimize Jira and Polarion to support evolving project and development processes.
Manage user roles, permissions, and access rights.
Configure and maintain workflows, templates, dashboards, reports, and project structures.
Provide guidance, training, and support to key users and end users.
Ensure platform consistency, usability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, project management, and operational teams.
Support governance and best practices related to ALM and project management tools.
Required Skills & Experience
4 to 6 years of professional experience in Jira and/or Polarion administration.
Strong hands‑on experience configuring and administering Jira.
Proven experience with Polarion administration and customization.
Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Experience configuring workflows, user permissions and roles, templates, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
Experience working in engineering, industrial, aerospace, automotive, defense, or regulated environments.
Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and requirements management processes.
Experience supporting change management initiatives and user adoption programs.
Understanding of software development or systems engineering lifecycles.
Experience delivering user training and support.
Languages
French: Native or professional proficiency (mandatory)
