About the Role
We’re supporting an innovative retail client on a mission to transform their marketing through advanced AI and data-driven decision-making. They’re looking for a Freelance AI Engineer to design and deliver intelligent marketing solutions that enhance customer engagement, personalisation, and overall experience.
This is a hands-on, project-driven role where you’ll apply machine learning and analytics to solve real commercial challenges—helping the business better understand and connect with its customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Develop and implement AI-driven marketing automation systems across key channels
* Build customer segmentation models to improve targeting and campaign effectiveness
* Design and optimise recommendation engines for personalised product experiences
* Analyse customer and campaign data to generate actionable insights and improve ROI
* Support the development of customer experience strategies through data and modelling
* Work closely with marketing and data teams to align AI solutions with business goals
* Continuously monitor and refine model performance in a retail environment
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an AI / Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist in a commercial setting
* Strong coding skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
* Experience working with marketing data, customer analytics, or personalisation platforms
* Solid understanding of segmentation techniques, xphnsxz recommendation systems, and predictive modelling
* Experience working with large datasets and deploying scalable solutions
* Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear business insights
Nice to Have
* Experience within retail or e-commerce
* Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Knowledge of real-time or streaming data applications
