About the role
As Key Account Manager Benelux & France, you will manage and develop key strategic accounts across these markets.
Your mission covers purchasing groups (Food Retail and DIY) as well as distributors, for both branded and private label ranges.
You will lead annual negotiations, oversee promotional plans by product category, and coordinate implementation with internal teams.
Your missions
Key account management
1. Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic clients in the Benelux and France.
2. Prepare, conduct, and finalize annual negotiations with purchasing groups and private label partners.
Commercial and marketing development
3. Define, plan, and monitor promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
4. Identify specific retailer needs and propose tailored solutions (manufacturing, packaging, innovation).
Coordination and operational follow-up
5. Coordinate operational execution (logistics, merchandising, communication) with internal teams.
6. Analyze commercial performance and recommend optimization actions.
Analysis and reporting
7. Provide regular reporting to management.
8. Conduct market and competitive monitoring.
The ideal candidate
Education and experience
9. Proven experience in negotiating with purchasing groups (mass retail or DIY).
10. Knowledge of private label models and/or the FMCG sector.
