Postdoctoral researcher in sustainable process design for bio-aromatics
(ref. BAP
Laatst aangepast: 27/11/25
The mission of the Center for Sustainable Catalysis and Engineering (CSCE) is to advance knowledge that deepens our understanding of catalysis in the emerging circular and carbon-smart economy. Our research spans fundamental and applied catalysis in both chemistry and engineering.
Catalysis plays a crucial role in enabling the selective breakdown of spent materials into valuable chemicals. Since recycling alone cannot fully close material loops, renewable and alternative feedstocks such as biomass, carbon dioxide, and other small molecules will be essential to compensate for future material shortages and reduce reliance on fossil resources. To achieve these goals, CSCE develops catalytic technologies, and engineering concepts. Examples include novel zeolites, advanced refinery schemes, and next-generation reactor designs.
