Role Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor with 3+ years of experience creating high‑performing video ads for Meta and YouTube. This is a remote, execution‑focused role for someone who understands performance marketing, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and can turn raw footage and UGC content into scroll‑stopping ads that drive conversions.

You’ll work directly with our creative strategists and media buyers to produce, edit, and optimize video content for DTC brands in health, wellness, beauty, and e‑commerce. You need to be comfortable with AI tools, quick turnarounds, and data‑driven iteration.

This role requires availability during EST business hours (8am–6pm EST, Mon–Fri) with flexibility for rapid revisions and weekend support when campaigns demand it.


What You’ll Do


Video Editing & Production

* Edit UGC (user‑generated content) and professional footage into high‑converting video ads for Meta and YouTube
* Create multiple ad variations from the same raw footage to support A/B testing
* Add captions, graphics, motion graphics, b‑roll, sound effects, and music to maximize engagement
* Optimize videos for different formats: vertical (9:16), square (1:1), and horizontal (16:9)
* Maintain brand consistency while adapting creative for different audiences and offers
* Work with provided scripts, voiceovers, or raw UGC to build compelling narratives
* Work closely with Creative Strategists to execute creative briefs and campaign concepts
* Collaborate with Media Buyers to understand what’s working and iterate quickly based on performance data
* Manage project timelines and deliverables in ClickUp or similar project management tools
* Participate in creative reviews and implement feedback efficiently
* Communicate proactively about timelines, roadblocks, and creative ideas


AI & Optimization

* Leverage AI tools (e.g., Runway, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT, Descript, etc.) to speed up workflows and enhance output quality
* Stay current on new AI video editing tools and incorporate them into your process
* Optimize videos based on performance metrics: hook rates, hold rates, CTR, and conversion data
* Test different hooks, pacing, CTAs, and visual styles to improve ad performance


What We’re Looking For


Experience & Skills

* 3+ years of professional video editing experience (preferably in performance marketing or DTC)
* Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
* Strong experience with After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects
* Portfolio demonstrating high‑quality video ads for Meta, YouTube, or TikTok
* Experience editing UGC content and making raw footage feel polished and engaging
* Understanding of direct‑response video ad structure (hook, story, CTA)
* Comfortable working with AI video tools (voice cloning, video generation, auto‑captioning, etc.)
* Familiarity with performance metrics and how creative impacts conversion rates


Work Style & Communication

* Available to work EST business hours (8am–6pm EST, Mon–Fri)
* Fast turnaround times without sacrificing quality
* Highly responsive to Slack/email and able to jump on quick calls when needed
* Comfortable receiving and implementing creative feedback quickly
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Self‑motivated, proactive, and ownership‑oriented
* Thrives in a fast‑paced, test‑and‑iterate environment


Nice to Haves

* Experience shooting and directing UGC or branded content
* Copywriting skills or understanding of direct‑response ad copy
* Graphic design experience (Photoshop, Figma, Canva)
* Familiarity with VSL (video sales letter) formats and storytelling
* Experience in health, wellness, beauty, or supplement verticals
* Knowledge of YouTube pre‑roll and in‑stream ad best practices
* Experience with color grading and audio mixing/mastering
