About Reboot Monkey
Reboot Monkey is a global datacenter services provider headquartered in Haarlem, Netherlands, operating 24 green‑powered facilities across 6 continents. We deliver colocation, IP transit, smart hands, remote hands, and managed datacenter services to clients worldwide. We are a lean, remote‑first team building the infrastructure backbone of the internet.
About the Role
We will be direct with you: we have cycled through 84 people in approximately 2 years. Your job is to change that pattern. We need someone who can stop the churn by building a structured hiring process that prioritises quality over quantity, uses consistent scoring in interviews, delivers onboarding that truly prepares people, and captures early performance signals to catch a bad fit within the first week.
This role is critical to everything else we are trying to build. Without a functioning hiring pipeline, we cannot staff the operations, sales, and finance functions that the company needs to grow. You own that pipeline.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
* Manage the full hiring pipeline for all open roles in Recruitee – from sourcing to offer.
* Write and post job descriptions in Recruitee, improving on existing ones.
* Screen CVs against role requirements, moving qualified candidates forward and rejecting unqualified ones quickly.
* Conduct first‑stage screening calls to assess fit, availability, and English fluency.
* Coordinate trial tasks with candidates and score results against the rubric.
* Own onboarding for every new hire: send access credentials, set up their first‑week schedule, run a 30‑minute orientation call.
* Track hiring pipeline metrics weekly: candidates screened, interviews scheduled, time‑to‑fill per role.
* Report to Michel (CEO) weekly with a pipeline update.
* Provide Americas‑timezone recruitment coverage as part of our 24/7 hiring operation.
* Over time, build and maintain an onboarding playbook so the process is consistent regardless of role.
What You’ll Own (KPIs)
* Candidates screened: 20+ per week during active hiring phases.
* Interview‑to‑hire ratio: 5:1 or better (5 interviews for every hire).
* Time‑to‑fill: 21 days or less from job posting to offer accepted, per role.
* Onboarding completion: 100% of new hires complete the onboarding checklist before their second week.
* Weekly pipeline report: Delivered every Friday by EOD.
Compensation and Terms
Monthly retainer: EUR 600–800 depending on experience (competitive for LATAM market).
Arrangement: Freelance / contractor – you invoice us monthly.
Hours: Full‑time, 40 hours/week.
Performance reviews: Every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, then monthly.
Payment: Monthly, on the 5th of each month for the previous month.
Timezone Requirement
Americas timezone required (UTC‑3 to UTC‑5). Brazil (BRT/UTC‑3) and Argentina (ART/UTC‑3) are ideal. You must be available during your local business hours to provide Americas‑timezone recruitment coverage. Your schedule will overlap with the CET team in the morning and hand off to the APAC team in the evening, creating true 24/7 coverage.
How We Hire
1. Application review – we review every application within 1–2 business days.
2. Initial video call with Michel (CEO) – 30 minutes to discuss your recruitment background and process.
3. Paid trial task – 4–8 hour exercise: review 30 mock CVs for two open roles, rank the top 5 candidates for each role, explain reasoning, and draft a reject message and shortlisted invitation email. Compensation at EUR 50–100.
4. Reference check – one call with a previous employer or client.
5. Decision – within 1 week of completing the trial task.
Why This Role Matters
We have made the mistake of hiring fast and onboarding poorly, resulting in 84 people who passed through and left – at enormous cost in CEO time, team disruption, and lost productivity. You are the person who changes that. Every hire you make well is a direct contribution to the company's stability. Every onboarding checklist you maintain is a new team member who gets up to speed in 4 weeks instead of 8.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of hands‑on recruitment experience – sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers.
* Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System); Recruitee experience is a strong plus.
* Structured interviewing skills – distinction between competency‑based and leading questions, consistent scoring.
* Fluent written and spoken English – all candidate communication and internal reporting is in English.
* Based in Brazil, Argentina, or Americas timezone (UTC‑3 to UTC‑5).
* Comfort with a high‑volume recruitment environment – we are hiring 5+ roles now and will continue as the team grows.
Nice to Haves
* Experience hiring for technical or operational roles in the datacenter, MSP, IT services, or infrastructure space.
* Experience building onboarding processes from scratch.
* Remote team hiring experience – understanding of what to look for in candidates who will work asynchronously across timezones.
* Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills for sourcing in LATAM markets.
* Experience with Hubstaff or similar time‑tracking tools for contractor teams.
