The role will be responsible for EU-facing communications in support of SHEIN's engagement with policymakers, media, and other stakeholders, working in close partnership with SHEIN's EU GR team and other teams across the organisation.The role requires a strong understanding of the EU policy environment, the ability to translate complex regulatory issues into clear and credible messaging, and experience advising on high-stakes reputational matters in a highly scrutinised, multi-stakeholder context. It combines strategic communications leadership with media engagement and senior-level counsel.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead SHEIN's communications approach for EU-focused engagement, aligned with global corporate priorities and the European policy environment.Drive effective communication of SHEIN's perspectives on EU-related issues to external audiences, including acting as a spokesperson where required.Shape clear, coherent public-facing narratives on EU-relevant topics across corporate, policy, and reputational dimensions.Act as a strategic communications partner to the EU Government Relations team and other functions engaged in EU policy discussions.Oversee local and regional media relations relevant to the role.Qualifications & ExperienceAt least 10 years' experience in corporate communications, public affairs, policy communications, or a related field, with significant EU exposure.Strong understanding of EU institutions, legislative processes, and regulatory dynamics, ideally gained through experience in Brussels.Proven experience advising on high-profile or sensitive issues in a regulated or highly scrutinised environment.Excellent writing and narrative building skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and credibly.Strong media relations experience with European and international outlets.Fluent English required; working proficiency in French and/or another EU language is a strong asset.SHEIN is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workplaceenvironment.
