🚨 NATO SECRET Clearance Required (Mandatory)
For NATO we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Administrator & Developer to support a NATO customer. Due to the nature of the project, candidates must hold an active NATO SECRET security clearance at the time of application.
This role combines Power BI platform administration, business intelligence development, operational support, and end-user training within a large-scale international environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of Power BI services while delivering high-quality reporting and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer, configure, and optimize Microsoft Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server.
* Monitor platform performance, availability, system health, backups, and logs.
* Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support and assist operational support teams.
* Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
* Perform platform patching, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
* Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and service teams to resolve technical issues.
* Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
* Build and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and reporting environments.
* Migrate existing reports and dashboards from legacy reporting platforms to Power BI.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and architecture documentation.
* Produce operational dashboards, KPI reports, and service performance metrics.
* Deliver end-user training sessions, workshops, and knowledge transfer activities.
* Support Power Users and promote self-service BI adoption across the organization.
* Participate in stakeholder meetings, planning sessions, and project coordination activities.
* Ensure compliance with NATO security, governance, and service management standards.
Mandatory Requirements
Security
* Active NATO SECRET clearance (mandatory).
Professional Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale business application implementations.
* Minimum 3 years of Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server administration.
* Minimum 3 years of Power BI development experience, including dashboards, reports, DAX, and data modelling.
* Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014+) including SQL and ETL processes.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in data modelling (star and snowflake schemas).
* Minimum 2 years of ITIL-based L2/L3 support experience.
* Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile environments.
