As part of the team, you will
* Work with software development teams to gather requirements and ensure best practices adhere
* Design, Implement & Support solutions for application development, security, analytics, and performance management
* Conform to existing industry and Verizon security coding standards adhering to fortify scan and other security tool review requirements
* Conduct code reviews for other members of the team and do peer code reviews to make sure the code is following standards set forward by the architects
* Resolve code issues with urgency
Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role
* Good English (spoken and written)
* Experience in Java
* SQL and NoSQL Databases
* Algorithm knowledge
* Agile methodologies management
* Understanding of best practices, SOLID principles, CLEAN Code, and scalable solutions
* Design Patterns knowledge
* Automated tests, CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with Version control
* Microservices and the Cloud
* IT infrastructure knowledge
