You will also support the integration of newly opened or acquired stores into existing accounting processes. /p pIn this fast-paced environment, you will coordinate information flows across multiple departments and manage relationships with external service providers. In addition, you will support the Accounting Manager in coaching the team and ensure that work is properly allocated and completed accurately and on time. /p pbKey Responsibilities: /b /pulliCoordinate the daily accounting administration and follow-up of invoice and commitment cycles for leasing, housekeeping, payroll, real estate taxes, and travel expenses /liliMonitor these expenses against budget and support the preparation of budgets and management reporting /liliReview reconciliations, including accruals, prepaid accounts, suspense accounts, and payroll data in collaboration with the Payroll Manager /liliSupport month-end and year-end closing activities, including account analysis, intercompany recharges, and commentary on fluctuations /liliCoordinate internal and external audit activities and prepare the required audit documentation and samples. /liliEnsure compliance with VAT, real estate tax, and other tax obligations in close cooperation with the Tax department /liliSupport statutory and group reporting for subsidiaries in line with IFRS and local GAAP, including annual accounts and accounting memos /liliContribute to mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and other ad-hoc finance projects /liliHelp implement and improve accounting procedures, controls, and systems, and participate in European finance projects and process improvements /liliSupport the Accounting Manager in guiding the team, advising on non-routine transactions, and training team members where needed /li /ulbrpbProfile of the Ideal Candidate: /b /pulliBachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent through experience. /liliMinimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Services or Retail sector and within an international context. /liliExperience in a multi-country or shared service center environment is a plus. /liliSound knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP is a must-have. /liliExperience with SAP is required; SAP S/4HANA familiarity is a plus. /liliFluent in English; proficiency in French or German is a strong asset.
