Project & Communications Intern Women4Cyber Foundation | Brussels (Hybrid) Are you passionate about women's empowerment, storytelling, project management, and creating meaningful impact? Would you like to gain hands-on experience within a European organisation working to increase diversity and inclusion in cybersecurity? Women4Cyber Foundation is looking for a motivated Project & Communications Intern to support the Women4Cyber Mentorship Programme, one of our flagship initiatives connecting aspiring and experienced cybersecurity professionals across Europe. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Position Details Position: Project & Communications Intern Organisation: Women4Cyber Foundation Location: Avenue des Arts 46, 1000 Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium Working Format: Hybrid (primarily on-site, with up to 2 remote working days per week) Duration: 3 to 6 months (6 months preferred) ⏰ Start Date: July/August 2026 Compensation: ⚠️ DISCLAIMER : This internship is unpaid but can be supported through Erasmus funding or undertaken as part of a university-accredited internship for academic credit. We are happy to provide any documentation required by your university or Erasmus office to facilitate the process. Unfortunately, we cannot host unpaid or self-funded internships outside of these frameworks. ⚠️ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Eligibility Requirements This internship is available exclusively to students who: ✅ Are eligible for Erasmus, Eurodyssey, or another recognised university-funded mobility programme OR ✅ Are completing the internship as part of a university programme for academic credit Applicants must also: ✅ Have the legal right to live and work within the European Union during the internship period ✅ Be able to provide proof of eligibility (learning agreement, nomination letter, university confirmation, etc.) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Who We're Looking For Students or recent graduates in: • Communications • Project Management • International Relations • Political Science • Social Sciences • Marketing • European Studies • Business Administration • Or related fields ⭐ The ideal candidate is: ✅ A strong communicator with excellent English skills ✅ Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented ✅ Interested in diversity, inclusion, gender equality, and/or cybersecurity ✅ Comfortable working in an international environment ✅ Experience with the following is considered a plus: • Canva • WordPress • Microsoft Office • Microsoft Teams • Eventbrite • Social Media Platforms • Project Management and Collaboration Tools ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ What You'll Do As a Project & Communications Intern, you will work closely with the Project Manager and contribute to the daily operations and development of the Women4Cyber Mentorship Programme. FOUNDATION'S MISSION CONNECT AND SUPPORT Identify the Community: Create a structured database of women in cybersecurity. Link the Community: Provide visibility through media and events. Raise Voices: Promote women through print, social media, and conferences. Shape Policy: Support EU and national policies aligned with Women4Cyber’s mission.
