As a senior consultant you are Managing client portfolios in close collaboration with your colleagues and the Publyon Management Team; Providing strategic advice on policy developments and identifying their impact on businesses; Helping our clients create sustainable relationships with policy makers, interest groups, industry and the media; Seeking new business opportunities and working alongside other senior members of the team on business development activities such as pitch preparation and delivery; Having a proactive mindset with strategic thinking and business acumen; Mentoring and coaching junior staff; Brainstorming continuously with the team to improve our work and services on a day-to-day basis. Who are you?
Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, political science, European studies, international relations); A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., strategic consultancy, corporate affairs, association management, policy/public affairs); Proven experience and knowledge of EU sustainability and circular economy legislation (e.g., Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, EU Deforestation-free Products Regulation, Waste Framework Directive, Circular Economy Action Plan); Strong understanding of EU policymaking, sustainability frameworks, and stakeholder environments; Proficiency in English; other EU languages are an asset; Extensive network, great networker, persuasive and well-informed; Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and within different corporate structures; Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire a team; Ability to develop a helicopter view, excellent analytical skills and results-driven.
