We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AdTech to support the development of a dual-screen television platform within the Media & Entertainment domain, focusing on scalable ad delivery and seamless integration of advanced advertising standards. The project is in an early product development stage requiring validation and optimization.
Responsibilities
* Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable ad-serving components optimized for dual-screen TV platforms
* Integrate and maintain compliance with evolving VAST, VMAP and SSAI standards to ensure seamless ad insertion and playback
* Collaborate closely with a small agile team of 3 to 5 engineers and engage regularly with client managers to align technical solutions with business needs
* Drive performance tuning and refactoring efforts to enhance system reliability and throughput under heavy load conditions
* Manage multiple concurrent development tasks while maintaining high standards of code quality and documentation
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
* Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to advance platform capabilities and maintain competitive advantage
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in designing and scaling high-throughput ad tech systems handling over 100 million daily requests
* Understanding of programmatic advertising protocols including OpenRTB, VAST and VMAP, along with SSAI within CTV/OTT environments
* Proficiency in at least one performance-critical language such as Go, Java, C++ or Rust, with a focus on hot-path optimization
* Background in working with leading SSP, DSP or ad server/ad exchange platforms, demonstrating cross-functional knowledge of modern programmatic ecosystems
* Capability to navigate complex technical challenges in a startup-like environment requiring rapid iteration, refactoring and system validation
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher
